Once opened and resealed, your peas will last up to 7 days in a fridge or cold-room, although best practice is to consume within 24-48 hours after opening.
Sam’s Natural Mushy Peas should be the perfect consistency without adding water. However, every operator has their own preference. If you wish to add a splash of water, we recommend you do so after heating.
The answer is yes. This is a natural product made without harmful artificial colorings and additives, meaning that a slight discolouration will occur if kept at high temperatures for long periods of time.
You can avoid this by not putting your entire days’ worth of peas in your bain-marie in the morning. Gradually top them up throughout the day to keep that nice freshness!
